Second week of 2013 and I’m so sick of winter. The days around New Year’s brought warmer weather and most of the snow melted away but of course it had to get colder again and we got some more. I have to keep reminding myself that we get snow all the way through March or even April so I won’t get too hopeful too early.
Not a very exciting week, just the usual everyday stuff. I did find the perfect navy polka dotted shirt on sale at H&M and Wille’s started with his final big school project building an electric guitar (SO cool!). I also got fun snail mail, an issue of Woman’s World Magazine which included one of my photos.
Mini and Bonus were also excited to not have snow but now that it’s back are literally climbing the walls.
Bonus does seem to be saying LET ME OUT! in a cute way. Have a good week xo

We just had our first snow fall last night - only about 2cm - but enough that the kids are outside throwing grassfilled snowballs at each other...and of course I "lightning Mcqueened" my hubby's car this morning (drew eyes on the windshield). At least everything is dusted with white - which of course makes everything prettier!

I have the same shirt :)
I'm sick of winter, too. My dog gets all excited over snow so it's always kinda fun watching him behaving like a little child. But does it have to be SO cold? I actually got myself a new coat on Saturday even though I thought that could wait until November

Normally I'd be mad at the snow with you, but we're just home from a very sub-par vacation and all I can do is look around and be SO happy we're home, snow and all!! But maybe it doesn't have to hang around till April...

I always thought that Swenden had more snow than Canada. So far we received 160 cm in my corner(province of Quebec). This week it's raining but the temperature will drop again tomorrow to a seasonal -15e.I like it my husband hates it.
What is the plant on your kitchen counter looking like a small tree?
Love your blog, it gives me great ideas on organizing.
Wish you lots of sunshine till spring.

It's a tiny juniper. I tossed it yesterday though because I forgot to water it. It still stayed in it's Christmas tree shpape but looked quite sad close up. Also yesterday was "Tjogondag Knut", the 20th day after Christmas Eve and it's tradition to take all Christmas decorations down on that day. I still keep the string lights up outside though because it's so dark.

Can completely understand Bonus! If I had to stay inside because of the snow so many days I would climb the walls as well.
(Btw love your new 52 project... it still give us lovely eye candies and it's easier on you)

I was thumbing through Woman's World today, and recognized that photo as your previous home. It was fun to think, 'Hey, I know that work area!' :)

oh, I am dying for some snow! Actually, I am dying for some real winter weather! It was 55f/12c degrees in NYC today. This warm weather in January is freaking me out.

We don't celebrate candlemas over here. Or at least not that I know of.
