Either Mini or Bonus look out of this window when I get home from work every day. They think my moving the desk there is awesome.
Inside my yet to be fully organized craft cabinet. Preparations for Wille’s birthday and Easter were under way.
I was home sick for two and a half days this week and saw this butterfly on the balcony. He didn’t look to great either. Must have been confused with the sunny but cold weather.
On the night before Wille’s birthday I stayed up late so I could send him a text at midnight (he was out with friends). Bonus had gone to bed already though.
My baby’s 18!
I didn’t put up a lot of Easter decorations. What you see above was basically it.
Yay! Double Yay! The pink slabs are gone. All gone! One of my neighbor’s ex boyfriend wanted them and we dug them all up as a team effort. On Wednesday the team that will build my deck and fence and who will paint the high exterior (which I can’t reach) will start working and by the end of the week or at the start of next it should be ready. Tripple yay!
You had a short winter didn't you? Weird winter for so many areas. Yay the pink is gone!

Benita, where is that wonderful little candle, chime (with witch flying) from? I love it.

I also love the easter candle with witches, I've only seen one with angels before.

Oh how lovely and simple for Easter! Have you bought the eggs or made them yourself - they're gorgeous!
Loving the lazy cats :)
Your garden is looking gorgeous! Just seeing the ground makes me happy - ours was covered with another cold spell and snow last night :(
Grattis till Wille ochså - 18!!!!! :D When did that happen?

Hi, Benita, congratulations to Wille, and to you, he seems a lovely boy. Your cat photos are endlessly entertaining, Bonus looks very happy at home now, I hope he stops wandering back to his old area.
I am always impressed by how much you get done, and am pleased for you to be seeing the results more and more.
Do you get a bank (public) holiday for Easter? We get Good Friday, and Easter Monday - great!
Best wishes, Mal

Happy Birthday again to Wille! I can't wait to see how your new backyard turns out, but it looks so much better out there without those pink pavers! Hope you had a nice weekend.

are those real pussywillows? or artificial? they look so beautiful.
I'm curious... do most people leave their windows uncovered? (no blinds, shades or curtains)? I noticed that you covered your new bedroom window... but the windows in the living areas seem open to the outside. does that make your house chilly?

The pussy willows are real. I love them :)
People don't really draw the windows or blinds unless it's in their bedroom and it's for privacy at night over here. All houses in Sweden (unless perhaps if they're summer cottages) have double glazing so it's not chilly at all. I'm always amazed when I go abroad and see how uninsulated homes are and how there's often just single glazing and exterior pipes even in countries that do get fairly cold winters. Swedish homes are usually quite well insulated and for them most time warm and cozy :)

Thank you Benita.

oh, what a relief to have all the stones gone, i'd be gazing out the window ever other minute. canadian homes seem pretty well insulated to me too. writing to you from an english cottage, where the wind blows right through without much of a pause… x

Beautiful pictures and sweet projects (I hope Wille enjoyed his Easter goodies). On a serendipidous note, I just coaxed one of those butterflies (could have been the twin!) out the window, and was rewarded by the joy of watching it fly off to a patch of wildflowers (so much nicer than thrashing its fragile body against the window time and again!)

"Either Mini or Bonus look out of this window when I get home from work every day. They think my moving the desk there is awesome."
Both of my cats also wait every day on the windowsill and I greet them and wave despite some strange looks from the neighborhood. Then couple of seconds later thay are already waiting on the apartment door and are trilled that I am (I mean dinner) there...
Love that photo with Bonus! The dude is chillin out.
Is Martin missing the cats? My Ex did. But since we don't have kids, there was no a reason to get his visit regularly.

Martin and his girlfriend have a cat, Zelda, but he's always happy to see Mini and Bonus when he visits.
