These little porceline spoons are little everyday items I love. I keep one in each glass jar in the kitchen and everytime I reach for one it makes me happy. Imagine that a little spoon can brighten up your day like that!
Last night's post was soooooooooooooooo long so tonight this was it.
Thanks Benita.... your daily posts make me smile (just like the spoons do for you) - I must admit, they are adorable! I came across your blog about 2 or 3 weeks ago and can't get enough of it. I 'check-in' every day now. You have really been an inspiration to me. I am a single mother, to a wonderful 11 yr. old boy. Needless to say, I have to 'decorate/organize' on a budget. I am not as handy as you, and your husband are, but I find I am getting a lot of ideas from you. I have always loved white furnishings, etc.; however, always thought I had to stay away due to having a youngster. I am happy to say, you have changed my outlook on that issue. I feel pretty confident I could get the white sofa and chair (slipcovered of course) that I have wanted for years. I also love the idea that you can change your style up accordingly with the accessories you choose. I was so afraid to decorate because I like so many different styles and colors, this is a great remedy to my problem.
I just wanted to thank you and let you know that I truly enjoy what your blogging about. Your son is a cutie, and like you, we too have a kitty cat. Princess is her name, and me and my son (Alex) love her very much! When you do get that book done, you already have one anxious customer who will buy!!! Have a wonderfuly day, and I look forward to more inspiring photos, and stories about your beautiful family and crafty projects. BTW - I am trying to talk my son into letting me do his room in a "Map" theme, like Willie's, but at the moment he is into muscle cars!! I do think I will steal your color though.. white walls, with the light blue accents (window coverings, shelf, etc.). Wish me luck.
Take care... Brandi

I have one spoon that belonged to my grandmother. I use it ONLY to stir the "nectar" for my hummingbird feeder. It makes me happy every time.

Oh, I have a bunch of those spoons too! I bought them at CB2, and use them for everything. They do make me happy every time I see them, you are so right.

Ciao Benita,
I totally agree with Brandi's letter.
For me too is a true joy reading your post, that I wait every morning.
I can't wait to have your book on my bookshelf.
Thanks for your elegance and daily freshness.
So, when we'll start with the illustrations for your book ?
Kisses from Sardinia,
Liliana

I feel the very same way about my colorful melamine bowls. It truly is the little things that make me the happiest. I don't have little porceline spoons though...and now I'm feeling as if I'm missing out on a simple bit of bliss. :)
