...until Christmas. Is it too early to start talking about it?
Although it's basically Christmas all year round for me (we have our first Christmas meeting at work in January...) I still love everything about it. Well, not so much the traditional foods but all the rest. The shopping, the wrapping, the flowers, the decorations. Don't worry though, that's last year's tree. I'm early, but not that early.
Last week our Christmas campaigns started and many of the other shops are selling their decorations already too. Ikea has been selling their stuff for a while already and it's really exciting that a friend of ours who now lives in Tokyo with her family has created a large portion of this year's holiday decorations and giftwrap and various kids items at the big blue & yellow store!
Besides from Christmas itself I also can't wait to have a little bit of extra time off. Here in Sweden we celebrate Christmas on December 24th and I'm not going back to work until January 7th. Yay! I have a million projects planned and I can't wait to have that extra time for them. I wish I had more time off before Christmas too as there's always so much to do and prepare... I'm considering taking Aby's holiday classes over at Simplify 101 to get organized before AND after. I am an organized person but I love the fact that there's always more to learn and new ways to simplify. I've enrolled in another online class too, this time I'm brushing up on my photography. I love that I can do all this from home and not having to go somewhere on a specific time.
